Patrick C. Kibbie is a director and stage actor from Salt Lake City, Utah. After a successful career in communications, Patrick decided to follow his passion for acting and directing, graduating from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting and Directing and from East 15 Acting School in London with an MFA in Theatre Directing. Patrick is a dedicated proponent of the arts, who has directed and performed in productions throughout his career. Patrick has directed and performed in theaters across Utah, England, and beyond. Some of his favorite productions he has directed are Lysistrata, The Laramie Project, and Puffs. Some of his favorite roles he has performed in include: Michael in Dancing at Lughnasa, Tartuffe in Tartuffe, and the Pastor in 9 Circles. He is thrilled you could join us for tonight’s performance and your support of the performing arts in Utah.

Sophia Van Nederveen
Sophia Van Nederveen is delighted to return to Voodoo Theatre Company as an Assistant Director. Recent favorite credits include costuming for Vanya & Sonya & Masha & Spike, as well as playing Danny in The Antipodes both at Voodoo Theatre Co, Pony in Realistic Jones with Wasatch Theatre Co, and Svetlana in Dreamers with Immigrant’s Daughter Theatre Co. She also recently contributed to an Oscar Boyson film starring Jaeden Martell. She has a degree in Criminal Justice and theatre performance from Westminster University and has trained with notable theatre/film alums Susan Stroman, and James Gray.

Deena Marie Manzanares
as Vanda Jordan
Deena Marie Manzanares is a graduate of the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in NYC. Training also includes Juilliard and CAP21. A member of Actor’s Equity, local highlights include Arkadina in “The Seagull”, Hedda in “Hedda Gabler” and Hermione in “The Winter’s Tale” all with The Sting & Honey Company. Blanche in “A Streetcar Named Desire” with Radical Hospitality, Tory in “Ass”; The New Play Sounding Series with Pioneer Theatre Company, and in the one-actor show “White Rabbit Red Rabbit” at Kingsbury Hall. Deena Marie has also performed with SLAC, Egyptian Theatre, The Grand, and Pygmalion. By day you can catch her as a TV Host for Utah’s longest running lifestyle show, Good Things Utah on ABC4, and the announcer for the Utah Royals. She was named Best Stage Actor in the City Weekly awards ‘22, ‘23. Vanda has been her dream role since she saw Venus in Fur on Broadway. It’s an honor to fill her boots. IG: @deena_marie

Jaden D. Richards

Jaden D. Richards is a Utah-based actor with training from Westminster University and Snow College. Selected stage credits include The Antipodes (Brian), The 39 Steps (Swing), As You Like It (Orlando) and Our Town (George Gibbs). Jaden contributes to the local independent film scene with selected credits including The Basilisk (Casey), Flesh (Xavier), Lost Connections (Liam) and Monday Lasagna (Goon 1).

Producer
Jack Cobabe is a Producer, Director, & Actor in Salt Lake City, Utah. Recent credits include producing with Voodoo Theatre Company and the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival. Directorial credits include The Antipodes at Voodoo Theatre Company, The Bacchae for the Classical Greek Theatre Festival, as well as assistant directing The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey and Dance Nation with Voodoo Theatre Company, and The Realistic Joneses with Wasatch Theatre Company. Acting credits include Gross Indecency (Alfred Douglas) with Wasatch Theatre, The Sin of Self Love (Hamlet) with An Other Theater Company, Helen (Theoclymenus) with the Classical Greek Theatre Festival, and The Lady with the Dog (Von Diederitz) at the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival. He received his BFA in Theatre Performance from Westminster College.

Ellie Otis feels so fortunate to be back on Voodoo's production team, this time as a producer, after directing The Moors and performing in The Antipodes last season. She most recently directed The Aliens with Sweetie Pies Only Theatre Co. and performed as Mariella in 1536 with Open Door Productions. Alicia is so thrilled and filled with gratitude to be returning to Voodoo. Serving as costume designer with such an incredible team has been an incredible experience. Her recent costuming credits include Grasmere at Voodoo Theatre Company and Emma and Xanadu at West Valley Performing Arts Center.

Melanie Kamauu
Sound Designer
Melanie is happy to be back working on her fourth show with Voodoo Theatre Company! She previously was the sound designer for The Antipodes, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, and The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey. She also works as Assistant Artistic Director for Vicariously Staged Productions, and she assistant directed and stage managed their last show, Paper Weight. Melanie has a deep love of storytelling and is also an award-winning playwright.

Resident Stage Manager
Taylynn Rushton is so excited to be back with Voodoo! She has been the resident stage manager at Voodoo Theatre Company since 2024. Taylynn has stage managed for different companies across the Salt Lake Valley including Utah Opera (Hansel und Gretel, The Flying Dutchman), The Classical Greek Theatre Festival (Medea, Helen), Westminster University (The Thanksgiving Play, The Doomsday Device), and Sting & Honey (Oleanna). She received her BFA in Production and Design from Westminster University.
